| Since we opened our shelter in December 1998, we’ve found
homes for more than 4,000 dogs, cats, puppies and kittens. In 2002
alone, PAD was responsible for sending 346 animals to loving homes
and by October of this year, 2007, we have already placed 899 pets.
Our placement rate is exceptional and it is getting better still.
We’ve increased our adoption rate by 11% so far this year. The
next time you worry that all our efforts might not be making a difference,
remember the 4,000 lives that have already been saved. You see it
really does make a difference!
